"Mark Grant was recommended by my bookkeeper. My criteria was to try to try to find an accountant tha...t would be a "straight shooter" to keep me in line. I realised I needed direction and focus in my businesses administration as I really didn't have any meaningful understanding. Put bluntly I realised I was heading toward a fall if I didn't get tax and cash flow sorted out. Secretly I thought my bookkeeper recommendation would take one look at me and fob me off as too small (this was the impression I got with a previous accountant). In the first contact Mark delved my business and me to actually listen and learn about my small business. From that initial contact my fears were dissolved. His communication style is inquisitive and he is thorough! Between my bookkeeper and SCG all previous errors were adjusted. My tax issues were rectified and most importantly I am in a mental state to focus solely on the trade aspect of my business. For me, this is an amazing position to be in as I feel more focussed on what is the aspect of my business that I am good at. If I could give Mark 6 stars I would give it simply because his communication style matches exactly what I was hoping to find. If you are a fan of business books and have read the E myth by Michael Gerber then you would understand the concept of the "Entrepreneur, Manager and Worker" entities in a business. I realise I can be 1 and a half of these but I will never have the skills to be the manager. Mark is in my eyes my business manager, without having to hire an employee. I am very grateful my bookkeeper recommended him.
