"I've been using Patane Accounting to do my tax for several years. I live in Perth but grew up in Bun...bury, so that's partly why I still use them. That said, the distance is no issue for me, as I can do everything via email and phone. Plus, when I've visited the firm in person, I've always had a positive experience. Another reason I like the firm is that they have a close knit, family vibe. The staff are always pleasant to deal with and nothing is ever too much trouble. Plus, Mark works diligently to get you the best return possible. He's honest in his advice and is proactive in his approach. This is really good for anyone looking to plan ahead. He even tailors his letters to you based on what you discuss over the phone. This is so much nicer than just sending a generic letter. It shows that he really listens to you. 2024 was the first time I was able to sign my tax documents (client engagement letter and the like) electronically. I found this to be very efficient and user friendly. They use 'fuse sign' for e-signing. Anyone who has used docusign in the past will likely be familiar with the process. Regardless, e-signing documents is much better than either posting or scanning and emailing them. All in all, if you're looking for friendly and efficient service, I highly recommend Patane Accounting.
